At this stage, our Ontario Certified Teachers meet with both parents and students to discuss academic expectations and goals, such as what grades they hope to achieve or what they hope to learn from our mentorship. Our instructors will evaluate the academic level of each student.

Teachers will utilize the learning goals created and through one-on-one instruction, our educators will guide students through the expectations of each subject. By incorporating specific lesson plans, students will be supported in practicing skills and building the confidence needed to achieve their academic goals.

Through an established rapport built between student and teacher, our educators will collaborate with their student in developing academic expectations and will provide a framework, e.g. developing an essay outline or navigating through the expectations of an assignment together, in order to execute the student’s plans and achieve desired goals.

Consistent and open communication allows for parents to be informed of their child’s academic progress. Through scheduled conversations in person, online, or over the phone, our educators work with both parents and students to plan not only for immediate academic needs, but to create a game plan for future academic aspirations, whether it be course selection, enhancing established learning goals, and university or college preparation.
